Minimal on-call time and small-town life with short drive to bigger cities. We practice low-stress handling. Plainfield Veterinary Service is currently looking to hire a full time Veterinary Technician or Veterinary Assistant to join our mixed animal practice in Plainfield, Iowa. We are a fast-paced, multi-doctor practice with competitive pay and benefits offered. Some of our small animal services include digital radiography, Idexx lab equipment, laser therapy and various soft tissue and orthopedic surgeries. Technicians will be required to handle client communication, animal restraint and husbandry, dental prophylaxis, surgical assistance and hospitalized treatment. Weekly schedule includes 4-10 hours shifts (giving a full day off during the week) with usually 1-2 8AM-12PM Saturday shifts a month.
