Power of Ten Leadership

Power of Ten Leadership (POTL) is an initiative designed to cultivate leadership capacity in recent graduates.  POTL provides a learning experience that will enrich the individual and benefit the individual’s practice, community, profession, and association.  The POTL Leadership Academy will address topics such as team building and staff leadership, effective communications and public speaking, best practices in HR and practice management, and personal wellness.
 
POTL was developed collaboratively by Veterinary Medical Association Executives (VMAE), Elanco Animal Health and the IVMA.  The program was inaugurated in 2012. The Power of Ten Leadership Academy, which will provide six to eight touch-points over eight months for an academy class of ten recent graduates, the team leader, the executive director, topic experts as appropriate, and Elanco field representatives as available.
