About the Symposium: The Iowa Biotechnology Association (IowaBio) and Bio Nebraska Life Sciences Association (Bio Nebraska) are proud to announce the second annual Animal Health In the Heartland: Ensuring A Safe Food Supply symposium. Recent outbreaks of Avian Influenza (AIV) and Porcine Epidemic Diarrhea Virus (PEDV) have had serious consequences in our Heartland region, and disease in our livestock herds poses significant threats to our food supply. The Ensuring A Safe Food Supply symposium promises to offer key federal, state and industry leaders the opportunity to discuss solutions for animal health preparedness.
