Webinar Speaker
Christopher Cripps, DVM
Dr. Christopher Cripps has more than 25 years of beekeeping experience. He started working with bees in the 80’s as Boy Scout, when he received a beekeeping merit badge in pursuit of becoming an Eagle Scout. At Cornell University, as an undergraduate, Chris studied under a legendary bee biologist. While attending The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine, he worked as a bee inspector for Franklin and Delaware Counties. Dr. Cripps joined Battenkill Veterinary Bovine, P.C. in Greenwich, NY in 1995 and practiced as a dairy veterinarian for 17 years. In 2012, He along with two colleagues purchased Betterbee — an online and brick-and-mortar honey bee supply business. He also serves as the President of the Southern Adirondack Beekeepers Association.
