This resident position will prepare the individual to become a diplomate in the American College of Theriogenologist. Emphasis of this position will be on bovine and small ruminant theriogenology with adequate exposure to small animal, equine, and porcine reproductive medicine. The person in this position will gain clinical experience while working with faculty providing medical, surgical, and theriogenology services to clients of the ISU CVM Food Animal and Camelid Hospital, ISU Veterinary Field Services unit, the ISU Bovine Embryo Transfer unit, and the ISU Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory. The person in this position will provide clinical instruction to veterinary students in bovine reproductive evaluation, embryo transfer, ambulatory field services, and food animal medicine and surgery. Responsibilities will include being on-call and providing emergency services.
